Make sure the canister is full and sealed.
Hold the canister with your thumb on the bottom and your fingers on the top, ready to press the nozzle.

Identify the threat. Keep your distance from the aggressive animal.
Hold the canister 2-3 feet from the dog and aim at the face or between you and the dog.
Push the nozzle to spray citronella. Each burst lasts about 1 second.

After use, store the canister in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Regularly check the canister’s expiration date and replace it as needed to ensure optimal performance.
